1. The smallest and biggest diesel locos on the railway. The Ruston 48 is a small but useful loco, which the carraige and wagon department hope to have use of again soon.

2. The Ruston 48 has been out of action for sometime now, due to gearbox damage. A replacement gearbox was sourced last year and moves are afoot to change the units over. The broken gear box is seen being lifted through the cab - with the roof removed.
